The Fisker EMotion will be the world's first electric car to feature an innovative solid glass roof that would let the sun shine in while providing passengers with a panoramic view of the sky and their surroundings. The windshield, too, is expected to be all-electric and is expected to eliminate the need for wiper blades.
The EMotion's design is not entirely new. It was inspired by the Destino, a luxury sedan designed by Henrik Fisker that was showcased at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show but never made it into production.
Fisker Inc. has revealed its latest electric car, the EMotion. To be first unveiled this fall at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, this new model was developed on a completely new platform and is loosely based on its predecessor, Fisker Karma. The EMotion has been designed by Henrik Fisker who is also responsible for designing Aston Martin DB9, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and BMW Z8 among others.
