2023 Fisker EMotion is Most Advanced Hybrid Ever

The Fisker EMotion is an all-wheel-drive sedan designed by Henrik Fisker of Fisker Inc. and scheduled to be produced by Fisker Inc. in Casa Grande, Arizona, United States. It is the second car manufactured by Fisker Automotive and the first one is Fisker Karma. The production of the car will be started from 2023.

It is a mid-size (D) vehicle with five doors and seven seats, powered by a lithium ion battery pack with a capacity of 31 kWh. The range on a single charge is expected to be 350 miles (563 km). The top speed will be 155 mph (250 km/h). The acceleration time from 0 to 60 miles per hour is 5 seconds.

The Fisker EMotion will be the world's first electric car to feature an innovative solid glass roof that would let the sun shine in while providing passengers with a panoramic view of the sky and their surroundings. The windshield, too, is expected to be all-electric and is expected to eliminate the need for wiper blades.

The EMotion's design is not entirely new. It was inspired by the Destino, a luxury sedan designed by Henrik Fisker that was showcased at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show but never made it into production.

Fisker Inc. has revealed its latest electric car, the EMotion. To be first unveiled this fall at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, this new model was developed on a completely new platform and is loosely based on its predecessor, Fisker Karma. The EMotion has been designed by Henrik Fisker who is also responsible for designing Aston Martin DB9, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and BMW Z8 among others.
